It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Centre for Distance Learning and Continuing Education (CDL&CE), University of Abuja. 

The Centre is committed to expanding access to quality, flexible, inclusive and learner-centred education through innovative approaches to open and distance learning, in fulfilment of the University’s dual mandate, from inception, to provide both conventional and distance learning. Indeed, learning should not be constrained by time, location or circumstance. We are therefore dedicated to creating opportunities that empower individuals to pursue their educational and professional aspirations, irrespective of their circumstances. 

At the Centre, we leverage digital technologies, innovative pedagogies and strategic partnerships to provide engaging and accessible learning experiences that meet the changing needs of learners and the demands of the 21st-century world. Our programmes are designed to promote academic excellence, lifelong learning, professional development and skills acquisition, while maintaining the quality and standards for which the University of Abuja is known. 

As we continue to strengthen and expand our distance and continuing education offerings, I invite prospective students, working professionals, graduates seeking additional qualifications, educators and other stakeholders to explore the opportunities available through the Centre.
